The International Certification Board of Coaches and Hypnotists (ICBCH) is a worldwide hypnosis association organization that provides education to the public and professionals via live training classes and home study courses about the benefits of clinical hypnosis, and recognizes hypnosis certification programs and hypnotherapy certification courses. It was created to set international standards of excellence and to promote hypnosis, clinical hypnotherapy and related fields of social science.
The ICBCH recognizes qualified instructors and training programs and maintains a roster of Approved Education Providers that meet its standards. Practitioners can obtain certification through approved courses or by reciprocity if they already hold a recognized credential. Members gain access to resources and a professional community that supports ethical, effective practice.
ICBCH recognition focuses on approving individual instructors and their courses as “Approved Education Providers.” Once an instructor meets ICBCH requirements, they may issue ICBCH-approved CE certificates for their trainings, which signals to students that the course aligns with ICBCH standards.
